Hello friends! And welcome to my 2021 spring home tour! I am very excited to be participating in the blogger's best spring home tour this year. It's a week-long blog hop with so many talented friends, so be sure to scroll down to the very bottom to check out all of the homes styled for spring. If you are new here, or if you are joining me from Cindy's home at DIY Beautify, I'm so happy to have you! And to those of you who visit often, I'm glad you are back to join in on the fun!
Spring is always a special time for me. It's a time for new beginnings and for a refresh of my spaces. I'm usually so tired of the winter lull by this time of year, so I'll take any excuse to add some color back into my life (and my decor!). We have had such a steady wave of winter weather this year with little to no sun - I'm over it! Fingers crossed there are no more winter weather surprises and we are in for glorious sunshine (please!).
I shared some more spring decor ideas last week, so be sure to check out that post here. In today's tour, I'm sharing spring touches in my dining room. If you have gotten to know me over the years, you know I love tablescapes! Setting the table in different ways for each season (sometimes even weekly!) is one my favorite ways to decorate. It's where my worlds collide - my love for food, shiny cutlery, tableware and florals all come together, and I use all of these items to be creative and express myself.
This year, I am still in the mood to pare down and keep things simple and clutter free. I'm a huge fan of Finn Style and opted for organic salad and dinner plates in a beautiful soft pink and grey color palette. To keep things modern and elegant I finished off the table with stunning glasses from IITTALA. Finn Style really has a great selection of products and the quality is just amazing. Be sure to check them out!
In keeping with the pink and grey theme this season, I opted for similar colors when setting the table. The shape of these beautiful plates from Finn Style just spoke to me! They worked so well with these beautiful soft gray placemats, and totally complemented the wild grass and mini floral centerpiece. The cherry blossoms were a nice finishing touch that completed the entire design. For a little glitz, I opted for rose gold cutlery, because let's be real, you can never go wrong with rose gold!
A new addition to my dining room this year is a faux Cyathea tree from Hi Rustic Reach. I love the coastal and breezy vibe this tree adds. The tree is a little on the shorter end, but I think it's perfect for the space.
Thank you all so much for stopping in and visiting me in my Spring Dining Room! I had a lot of fun styling this space and there are more fun ideas and projects on the way, so be sure to subscribe to my site be the first to know!
