No holiday season is complete without a delicious mug of hot cocoa to be enjoyed on the daily - am I right? Well over the past month, I have been experimenting in my kitchen to come up with the perfect mug of deliciousness to be enjoyed all season long. I wanted to get the flavors just right and wanted it to be equally joyful for those who add milk or water. After a few mishaps and one success in the kitchen, I present to you Just Add Cinnamon: A Twist On The Classic Hot Cocoa Mix.
This tasty hot cocoa recipe is just as simple as it is flavorful. I promise that you will have most (if not all) the ingredients in your kitchen. It will take you 5 minutes or less to prepare a large batch. Here's the recipe:

Ingredients:
1 cup Confectioners Sugar
1/2 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
1 cup Powdered Milk or Instant Nonfat Dry Milk
1 Heaping Teaspoon of Cinnamon Powder
Makes 4 servings
Instructions:
1) In a few bowls, separate out the confectioners sugar, unsweetened cocoa powder and powdered milk.
2) Add these ingredients one by one to a common bowl.
3) Take a whisk and whisk these ingredients well until the powdered mixture is smooth with no lumps.
4) Add the heaping teaspoon of cinnamon powder and whisk again until the cinnamon is well combined.
5) Store the powdered mixture in a canister or mason jar for regular use!
Not only is this hot cocoa mix perfect for you to enjoy, but it is also great for setting up a hot cocoa bar for guests at your next gathering. Set up all the extra fixins next to this delicious hot cocoa powder including chocolate chips, mini marshmallows and peppermint sticks.
