Hello friends! It's been a few weeks since my last blog post, and this is in part due to the fact that I took a quick work-trip turned vacation. After a much needed 10 days of rest and relaxation, I'm back! Today's blog post is a little different - it's not a recipe or a decor idea, but a travel guide! I'm excited to share with you how I ate my way through Napa - and this is the ultimate food guide. I spent a quick 48 hours in Napa Valley - and I vividly remember all the delicious foods I ate! If you are into wine and if you are in to food (aren't we all!) then Napa should definitely be on your bucket list. The settings are picturesque and you literally feel like you are in paradise! Without further ado, let me jump right in to all the foodie places you should check out on your next trip to Napa!
The Silverado Resort
Napa valley is filled with a ton of incredible resorts and hotels - but one of the best resorts I have ever stayed in is The Silverado. This place is something truly special in the California Hills. Sitting atop 1200 acres of beautifully landscaped yards and wineries - The Silverado took my breath away. The restaurant is just as special.
The grounds are so stunning and equally as inspiring. I collected so many ideas for my own backyard!

Auberge Du Soleil
This beautiful resort nestled in the Californian mountains - is Napa's best kept secret! The minute you walk onto the grounds, you are transported to the South of France. The views are breathtaking from every angle, and the food is a perfect match. The restaurant was founded by Claude Rouas, and boasts a Michelin Star for 13 consecutive years. My meal here was phenomenal, and probably the most memorable from my trip.
The Fairmont Sonoma - Mission Inn & Spa
The Fairmont hotel is in Sonoma - just a quick 15 miles away. The drive is absolutely serene - complete with rolling hills, pathways studded with Italian cypress trees and vineyard views.
My husband and I enjoyed our trip out to the Fairmont resort. Another Michelin rated restaurant, we made a quick stop for brunch and this place did not disappoint!
And of course, I took the opportunity to tour the grounds too! This resort is full of lush greens, fresh blooming bushes, gingko trees and a huge pool!
I hope that this ultimate food and travel guide - how I ate my way through Napa - is helpful as you plan for the best weekend getaway! We just loved our trip there, and will definitely head back for a visit.
